The American Academy of Psychotherapists created the Scholarship program in 2009 to provide an intensive clinical training experience while introducing new therapists to AAP. Twenty individuals are selected each year to receive a $1200 need-blind, scholarship; to help cover their registration, hotel and meal expenses while they participate in AAP’s October Institute and Conference.
